FAQ

WHY DO I NEED MIXING?

After the creative writing process, mixing is one of the most vital steps in achieving a professional sound which helps your music to connect with your audience. Mixing allows control over every element within a piece of music and when a track is mixed correctly, it provides a solid bedrock for the mastering process.

WHY DO I NEED MASTERING?

Every piece of music you have ever heard has been mastered in some way. Mastering is the final stage of record production where both technical and creative changes are made to ensure a track feels like a professional, finished product ready to be released into the world.

Although mastering is often a highly technical process, achieving the correct level, tone and control of a record shouldn’t come at the cost of its artistic integrity. At Cirrus we draw on a depth of knowledge and experience with a range of music to retain all the character and movement of your music while making sure it sounds great on any playback system.
